Only if the PDF already has a text layer. For pure images, run our Searchable PDF (OCR) tool first, then bring the result back here.
What voices are available?
Eight neural voices covering warm/neutral, bright, deep and storyteller styles. Preview them by generating a short page range first.
Can I change the reading speed?
Yes — anywhere from 0.5× to 2×. The setting is baked into the generated MP3, so you don't lose the pitch quality.
Is my document uploaded?
The PDF itself stays on your device — text is extracted in the browser. Only the extracted text is sent to the AI voice model for synthesis.
How long can the PDF be?
There is no hard cap, but very long PDFs are split into segments and stitched together, which uses more AI credits. Trim with page ranges to save on cost.
